What to do the day of a swim meet?
  • Swimmer and volunteer must be at the pool at designated times.
    • Swimmers to make sure you have time to warm up.
    • Volunteers to help with set up.
  • Adults should volunteer to help run the meet
    • Makes the work easier for everyone
    • (Frankly, meets can become boring if you're not doing anything)
    • Aren't sure how to help out?
      • Ask a team rep.
      • There are plenty of people willing to help you lear the ropes.

What to bring:

  • 2 towels (one to dry off with and one to sit on or cover up)
  • water
  • light snack (oranges, granola bar)
  • sunscreen
  • cash for concession stand (after swimmer has completed all assigned events,  can go eat "real food")
  • activity to do between events (if your swimmer is entered in numerous events, the wait between events can be a bit long)
